Pokhara
is surprisingly very beautiful Himalayan valley of the world
situated in mid western of Nepal. Without visit to Pokhara your visit
to Nepal won't be complete. It lays 200 km. west of Kathmandu and is
connected by air as well as road. Pokhara valley is situated at an
altitude of 900 mts. above the sea level. for the mountain over
Pokhara offers the magnificent views of Dhulagiri, five peaks of
Annapurna including fish Tail (Machhapuchhre), Himalchuli and others.
Pokhara is one of the few places in the world to provide such a
dramatic views of natural contrast in a subtropical setting. These
Himalayas are only 28 kms. from the Pokhara valley. Pokhara offers
fishing, boating and swimming if you like. Rewarding hikes, mini treks
along the ridge around the valley and equally superb giving as they do
elevated close-ups to the snow peaks. Going PONY riding is yet another
way of enjoying Pokhara and very popular destination of staring
point for rafting, trekking routs to Annapurna, Dhaulagiri Himalayan
range as well as Wild Life Safari and birthplace of Lord Bhddha "Lumbani".
Nepal is a land of a great
