The Jugal Himal range is north-east of kathmandu
froming the Boundary
with Tibet between Langtang and the Bhote Koshi (late Sun koshi) River. The main peak is Dorjee Lakpa, 22,929 feet,at the head of the Balephe
river and the two high flanking ridges is still a truly remote area untouched
by tourism and yet it is easy reach of Kathmandu.
There are
few more trekking areas in Northern area like Ganesh Himal,Pangsang trek which
is very remote.
