- Mata Tirtha – [Mother's day- last

- Janai Purnima or Rishi Tarpani or
Gunhi Punhi [Scread thread day – one day preceding the full moon of

- Gai Jatra [Cow festival – one day
after the Shrawan full moon] – end of July.
- Gathyamuga or Ghanta Karna [ 14th
day of the dark fortnight of Shrabawan] – Midd of August.
- Teej [ Women fasting festival] –

- Dashain or Durga Puja [September –
October] Hindu's main greatest festival of the year.
- Tihar [Deepawali – worship to the
Goddess of property, holy animal Cow, Crow, Dog and sister brother
